The exhibitions at Vrak will take you on an exciting journey through time. You will experience dramatic events hidden behind the world-unique cultural heritage that is preserved beneath the surface of the Baltic Sea.
Vrak – Museum of Wrecks is partly a museum, partly a knowledge and information hub for maritime archeology around the Baltic Sea. Since last year’s inauguration, Vrak’s diving maritime archaeologists have made new discoveries and uncovered knowledge about the unique cultural heritage of the Baltic Sea – such as underwater barrier from the late Viking Age/early Middle Age, the Osmund wreck from 16 th century with its unique osmund iron, enormous warships from the 17th century, to the cargo steamship Annie from late 19th century.
