Welcome to our new exhibition Vikings Before Vikings! Meet the oldest known burial site for a Viking-age warrior band, which took place about 1,300 years ago near present-day Salme on the island of Ösel in Estonia. Here, over 40 fallen Scandinavian warriors were buried along with their weapons and other equipment in two ships on the beach. See the equipment, real Viking artifacts such as swords and arrows.In addition to this, we will also conduct a live dive that can be followed digitally.
