Practical information

Opening Hours

The museum is open daily from 10.00 to 17.00.

All guided tours begin exactly on the hour or half hour with a short film screening. Please arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for coats, bags and restroom visits. Unlocked storage boxes are available for your group’s belongings.

If your booking begins before regular opening hours, you will be admitted ten minutes prior to the start of your tour.

Food and packed lunch

There is no lunchroom at the museum. We recommend that packed lunches are eaten outdoors, weather permitting.

Admission

Admission for students and teachers within compulsory school, upper secondary school, SFI and other adult education programmes is free of charge, including the guided tour.

Teachers who wish to visit the museum in advance for preparation purposes are admitted free of charge if they notify the museum educator prior to arrival. Please contact us via email for details.

Responsibility during the visit

The teacher is responsible for the group throughout the entire visit. This includes ensuring that the group stays together, maintains a safe distance from other visitors, uses a normal speaking voice and moves calmly within the museum.

Visiting independently without a guided tour

If you would like to visit the museum on your own with your class, you must notify us in advance by email. We are happy to provide tips and advice to help you prepare.
