Carta marina according to Hippstory
Based on the well-known and legendary Carta marina, the Gotland-based designer Julia Nielsen interprets the sea monsters in a personal way. Green, pleasant Baltic Sea world
Vrak's maritima archaeologists have taken pictures of some exciting wrecks in the Baltic Sea, including "Traveling Man" which is also part of one of the museum's exhibitions. The green glass coasters are not only decorative but also create a talking point for the snacks!
Vintage scuba
Super nice, black and white photos from the early days of marine archaeology. There is something about old photos and the diving equipment that was used back then. Among the subjects is one of Mrs. Dare Smith – the world's first female diver. The photo was taken as early as 1933!
