Collaboration

Vrak works nationally and internationally with special focus on the Baltic Sea region. Close and cross-border collaborations with actors in all affected countries create new perspectives and increase knowledge of the maritime cultural heritage that lies beneath the surface of the Baltic Sea.

The collaborations include authorities and researchers as well as private actors. The ambition is to create contact surfaces and opportunities for collaborations.

Vrak collaborates with museums, authorities and other parties who want to preserve and make accessible the cultural heritage underwater. The museum organizes conferences and scuba diving seminars, participates in research collaborations and working groups, coordinates knowledge networks and participates in networks against looting.
